A wood chopper alerted police to an abandoned automobile along the road for days. $15 in his billfold.
Rome reports Krushevo a Bulgarian base 20 miles north of Monastir has fallen to Italian troops. Italians also drove enemy from mountains between the Cerna and Velika rivers and are pursuing Bulgarians along the Monastir Kichevo road north of Demirhissar for two miles.
A dispatch from Amsterdam reports no official word in Berlin by nightfall on Saturday about Chancellor von Hertling quitting. No confirmation or denial was available from German authorities.
