Ancients of Boston Prepare Annual Philadelphia Field Day

The Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company sails from Faneuil Hall for Philadelphia for a multi day program. They will visit Gettysburg, the National Export Exposition and dine at the Continental Hotel with a banquet hosted by the company. Salem Cadet Band accompanies the trip.

Symphony Concert Ticket Sale at Music Hall Ends

Yesterday afternoon the Symphony Orchestra ticket sale closed at Music Hall with unusually many bidders. The $7.50 Saturday evening seats, valid for all twenty four concerts, were in demand, and these seats placed on the floor in the back drew strong numbers.

Fast Friends Turn to Rivalry in Ward 14 Mayoral Delegation

Wire Commissioner Thomas W. Flood declared he would file a delegation to the mayoralty convention in Ward 14 pledged to his interests. He clashed with ex-Alderman Joseph J. Norton, Ward 14 Democratic leader, who questioned Flood's sincerity. Norton conceded some cooperation but Flood threatened a fight, signaling a factional battle and a candidate for the Board of Aldermen.
