Biggest Chinatown policy raid nets scores of arrests
A police operation by Station 4 raided nine Chinatown houses in Harrison avenue and Oxford place arresting 74 men and seizing 20 900 policy slips along with fan tan checks. Officers searched Oxford place and Harrison avenue locations gathering 11 150 slips and 51 prisoners then 2000 slips and 6 prisoners at other Oxford site and 5000 slips overall. The operation ended with two city officials benefiting financially as district authorities prepare court actions on First Offence charges.

New Water town Arsenal Adds Traveling Crane and Upgrades
