Stricken Woman Found Unconscious On City Street

Harriet A. Allen a 73 year old widow of 97 Lexington Street was found unconscious on the Meridian Street sidewalk suffering from apoplexy. After treatment by Dr Frasier she was taken home.

In Horticultural Hall at 11 yesterday morning the Fitchburg railroad held its regular annual stockholders meeting with President Codman presiding. A committee nominated Edmund D. Codman Robert Codman Rodney Wallace Charles T Crocker William S Webb Francis Smith William H Hollister Joseph B Russell Charles Lowell Brigham N Bullock William Rice and Moses Williams for directors. All of these served before except Williams who fills the late William A Russell’s seat. All 66 827 votes cast were for the regular nominees.

Alleged Bad Checks Brought to Boston From Portland Arrests

Frederick D. Upton 38 of 462 Massachusetts avenue was arrested in Portland and brought to Boston on charges of obtaining property valued at 10 dollars with a false check on the People's National Bank and for larceny of 20 dollars by a worthless check. Ernest Blackwell alias John W. Wood was arrested for passing a 16 50 dollar worthless check on George F. Dow of 1179 Washington street. Blackwell resides at 27 Oakdale street West Roxbury.
