Financial history test by Massachusetts voters cited in debate
The piece argues that Colonel Allen mislabels past Democratic and Republican money policies as “heresy.” It cites 1872 and 1876 party platforms, debates on silver, legal tender, and debt policy, and contrasts Democratic calls for honest money with Republican inflation and bond practices, urging examination of records and taxation choices.
