Hailstorm floods Rome streets and sinks roofs

Joseph L. Edenberg a 70 year old Somerville real estate operator was shot and seriously wounded shortly after 11 o clock last night by one of two holdup men near his home at 5 Waldo street Somerville. The men fled after the shooting.

Burlington Opens First Municipal Aviation Field

Governor Hartness and several thousand northern Vermonters witnessed the opening of the first municipal aviation field in Vermont. Four airplanes formed over the site north of the Williston turnpike three miles from City Hall. Lieutenant R. C. Moffat from Framingham represented the army at the exercises.
