Judge Wait of the Superior Court exonerates Abram J. Berkwitz a Boston attorney after a hearing. Mrs. Henry W. Watson of Langhorne Pennsylvania wife of Representative Watson of the Eighth District dies suddenly in a Sixth Avenue surface car. Police report she had twelve thousand dollars in cash and jewelry valued at more than fifty thousand dollars on her person.
Joseph J. Quinlan described helping two youths with a dime for food on July 9 when he was knocked down and robbed of $20 near Dover and Washington. One assailant, Joseph Williams, faced a three to five year State prison term. the other, William Mack, 20, was placed on probation amid his mother's plea.
