Two electricians, Robert Anderson 25 of Cambridge and Benjamin Sully 37 of Chelsea, died at the George street power station when a cracked insulator allowed live wires to contact a railing. The men were near the generator when both were instantly killed. Foreman Frank Walsh and two coworkers witnessed the tragedy. An investigation will probe why daily inspections failed to detect the faulty insulator.

At Ossipee New Hampshire on September 22 Mrs Emma Mansfield Whittemore of Wakefield Massachusetts saved a 17 year old Salem boy by pulling him into a rowboat after a long struggle. Ernest Machado 38 an architect of Salem was killed.
One hundred ministers and delegates to the International Council of Religious Liberals, with hosts, used more than 40 automobiles when police halted them in Newton this afternoon for speeding. Names and car numbers were noted and many summonses to appear in court are expected.
Superintendent of Streets James H. Doyle faces trial in the afternoon with Judge Hammond presiding. The court will first rule on the motion to quash two indictments, while the main charge concerns offering campaign funds to Councilman Harding to secure a favorable vote on the Fitzgerald administration loan. No motion to quash the specific indictment has been filed.
