Scottish Rite council meets with 33d degree honors awarded
The Supreme Council of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite held a full ceremonial session in Gothic Hall. Barton Smith presided as Sovereign Grand Commander with numerous dignitaries including William C. Mason and Most Puissant John Morrison Gibson 33d degree. The gathering honored war losses, discussed lodge growth, and announced 75 candidates elected for the 93d degree. A luncheon for visiting ladies followed at the Copley Plaza with a Paragon Park excursion planned if weather allows. A long list of recipients from many states was announced for the 33d degree, including numerous Masons from New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts, and beyond.
