Westwood Children Hurt In Morning Auto Accidents

In Westwood two separate accidents within half an hour left three children injured. Mabel Ross 11 and sister Gertrude 3 were struck by Henry Endicott's car. Marjorie Elkerton 6 was hit by Francis Winslow's vehicle. All were taken to private hospitals, with Colburn and Stetson assisting. two sisters were later moved to Children’s Hospital in Boston.

Child struck by car near home heading to school

Shortly before 2:30 a.m. Httle Marjorie Elkerton left 191 Washington Street for school and was hit by Francis B Winslow's automobile. She suffered a fractured right hip and other injuries but is expected to recover after treatment at Emergency Hospital Norwood and then New England Hospital for Women and Children.
