Gilbert Hickey held 100 bail for concealed weapon ready tomorrow. James Doherty third offense drunk six months in house of industry. George C Lord held 160 bail for lar ceny due Sept 23. David Goodhardt Moses Stewart and Alexander Campbell fined 5 plus one third costs for mutual assault. Goodhardt also fined 100 for concealed weapon in Roxbury court. Thomas Good and Frederick Haley held 300 each for robbery charges and fined 6 each with costs for larceny. Both appeared.

Annual drill of first infantry at Fort Warren under Col Wellington

The first infantry under Col Austin C. Wellington drills today at Fort Warren by state orders. The regiment forms on Essex street then marches via Washington High Congress State and Commercial streets to East Boston ferry, with Reeves band and Grai corps. They travel to Fort Warren for a gun instruction session and a 4 pm complimentary review, leaving about 5 pm. Ambulant passengers may board the Gen Lincoln from India Wharf at 9:40 am or 2:30 pm to reach the fort and return.
