Thaw Extradition Hearing Set in Concord New Hampshire

Harry K. Thaw will seek liberty in Concord as Governor Felker plans a hearing next week on an extradition demand from Acting Governor Glynn of New York. Medford High football opens with promising early practice

First Woman Missionary to India Dies at 93

Mrs Clementina Butler 93 the first woman missionary to India and organizer of the Woman's Foreign Missionary Society of the Methodist church died at her home Newton Centre. She accompanied her husband to India in 1856 and helped establish the first Methodist mission there. She organized branches nationwide and helped the society grow to the largest in the church. Born in Wexford Ireland she married in 1855 and sailed for India a year later.

Mrs Clementina Butler Dies Recalling Missionary Service

Mrs Clementina Butler organizer of the Methodist Women's Foreign Missionary Society died yesterday in Mexico. She and her husband were early Methodist missionaries in Mexico and she later traveled to India for the jubilee of the first mission. She leaves several children including Rev. Dr John W Butler in Mexico City and Miss Clementine Butler in Newton.

Claim Woman Is Fugitive From Mexican Embezzlement charges

Alice Maude Maile Sanchez of Mexico City, a 30 year old woman, was arrested in Brooklyn by U S Department of Justice agents as she exited the steamer Esperanza. She was booked as Ida Munger and denied being Mme Sanchez. Embezzlement alleged by Mexican authorities occurred in Mexico City. details of the act are not clear.
