Warden Ranney Found Dead Near South Hadley Woods
The body of Hiram S. Ranney warden of the town farm was found this morning in the woods about half a mile from the farm, lying on his shotgun. He left the farm Monday night around 11 with his gun and is believed to have taken his own life. No motive is known.
