Victor F. Nelson a 22 year old convict who escaped Charlestown State Prison four months ago surrendered to Warden Elmer Shattuck in Boston yesterday afternoon He had been at liberty sev eral days attending theatres and moving about city streets before his voluntary surrender and re arrest.
After visiting Chelsea Baptist Church with Mrs Harding and guests the President spoke to several hundredth Division veterans gathered in front of his hotel. Standing on a chair he urged former service men to aid in solving peace problems as they did in war. There is nothing too good in America for its veteran defenders.
Mrs. Guy Spiker once Emily Knowles and mother of Perley Spiker's child disappears. The affair in early 1929 drew wide attention as Mrs Perley Spiker sheltered the girl. later she married Perley's brother, Guy.
