John J. DeAvignon a 35 year old brakeman for Boston & Maine rail road was arrested by Inspector Kilday charged with forging Henry A. Higginson's name on a $550 check drawn on Boylston National Bank dated Sept. 2. He allegedly uttered it yesterday to Solomon Robinson at 51 Washington street to pay for a diamond ring.
