Democratic State Convention Call for Massachusetts 1865

The Democratic State Committee calls for delegates from Massachusetts cities and towns to attend a Worcester convention on September 28 1865. Delegates are apportioned by city or town and by votes for the 1864 Democratic Governor candidate. The meeting seeks to unite the Commonwealth for state officer campaigns and other Democratic interests amid national political tensions. Moses Bates chairs with Morse and Brancuaro as secretaries.
