Congress of Internationals at The Hague charged with unrest

The Hague September meeting of the General Congress of the Internationals drew many French Communists and reported a number of condemned criminals present incognito. Credentials verification concluded. twelve New York Woodhull adherents were refused seats after debate. A public sitting adopted a communist resolution praising fallen heroes and hoping for freedom, while Bismarck was denounced as traitor by the president who criticized Favre. County treasurer accounts show 60000 to 70000 deficit

Springfield dispatch reports Ohio County Commissioners found a deficit of between $60,000 and $70,000 in the treasurer’s accounts. The retiring treasurer became involved through the suspension of the People's Bank in Nashville.
