Daisy Wrecks At Clifton Heights In Narrow Rescue
The sloop Daisy of South Boston owned by J. J. Donahue ran ashore on Clifton Heights rocks early this morning. Occupants including Captain Donahue and four men were saved by local summer residents after the vessel struck and sank a hole in its hull. The party named were J. J. Donahue, George W. McCarthy, Edward Blaisdell, John Mulcahy, and 12 year old Charles Hastings, all of South Boston. The yacht is expected to break up tonight.
