The second day of the New England Staaten Saengerbund biennial festival drew about 2000 visitors to Arbeiter Hall Roxbury for sociable events and a singing contest with 18 societies. A grand sacred concert in Music Hall featured a 600 voice male chorus and the Symphony Festival Orchestra under Gustav Strube, with soloists J. Lloyd and Miss Spencer. A parade and Apollo Garden volksfest conclude the Sunday program, with 1590 union members in town acting as a reception committee.
