The 158th race at Quincy Yacht Club is scheduled for Thursday September 7 at 1 p.m. off the club house at Houghs Neck. It is open to yachts in classes D L and those of the Yacht Racing Association of Massachusetts and will be sailed under association rules and count for percentages.
The annual field day and athletic tourney of the Irish National Athletic Association is held today at Oak Island. Champion hurling and football clubs compete for the $100 prize and the challenge cup, with top professional athletes in jumps and sprints.
