Murder at sailors boarding house ends in fatal stab
Alarm rises as murder occurs at 8 o clock Tuesday morning at 168 North Street sailors boarding house run by Dave Hennessey. Lawrence Wilkinson, a colored sailor, dies after being stabbed by Jane Reynolds alias Hennessey who also has connections to the keeper. Reynolds, white, allegedly lived with Hennessey two years and has a drinking problem. Police arrest Reynolds and several witnesses. arraignment for murder scheduled.
