Milk prices rise to nine cents a quart in Boston and suburbs. The increase was decided at a Boston Co operative Milk Protectors Association meeting held at the American House. The rise reflects higher costs for hay grain and drought effects on farmers.
Ferdinand Penney Earle left New York on July 25 for a European tour with a young woman he calls his mental mate. The party includes others and a chaperon, and his companion is Miss Gertrude Buell Dunn, a Boston newspaper veteran and horsewoman.
