More than 10 000 attended the Boston Caledonian club picnic at Spy Pond Grove Arlington on Thursday with parades from Eliot street hall to Bowdoin square and then to Arlington. A large police presence kept order amid crowded streets and hawkers selling foods and drinks. Notable guests included Donald Dinnie George Davidson and William Cummings.
