Dr Joseph W Sawyer, a well known Boston dentist, died today at his home in Saugus Centre aged 58. Born in Boston he lived in Saugus for over 30 years. A Civil War drummer boy, he later held posts with HB WW f Hicks Post G A R and Palestine Commandery Knights Templar. He belonged to several societies and is survived by his widow and one son.
