Resignations Filed By New Haven Directors
The resignations became known after today's trial session, now in its second week, and will be formally presented to New Haven stockholders at tomorrow's annual meeting in New Haven. No formal reason was provided, but the action is said to aim to avoid embarrassing current management amid ongoing government actions. Former directors McHarg and Brewster joined the board May 31, 1907, and did not participate in alleged illegal acts prior to that date. Mr. Brewster resides in New Haven.
