Loyalty to Constitution or Empire in Civil War Debate

The speaker challenges the Administration’s loyalty claims urging allegiance to the Constitution not a king or despot. They denounce a supposed law of empire and accuse radical leaders of betraying sovereignty, warning voters to judge acts by constitutional fidelity and the people’s sacred trust. The piece laments disloyalty and calls for reasoned constitutional justice.
