A Brooklyn woman sues Philip B. Henry of Boston in U S Circuit Court New York for 50000 claiming breach of promise and personal affections. The case accuses Henry of seducing Emeline Kennedy in 1885, forging love letters and presenting himself as her husband. Santa Fe California Limited Returns Semi Weekly

Beginning November 4 the Santa Fe route resumes its California Limited trail as a semi weekly service leaving Chicago Wednesdays and Saturdays at 6 p m. It reaches Los Angeles in 72 hours and San Diego in 76 12 hours. Equipment includes vestibuled Pullman palace sleepers buffet smoking car and dining car. Resignation of Ashland Free Baptist minister ends gossip

The Rev. H. C. Clarke of Ashland has resigned after years of prosperity and rising gossip over an alleged intimate relation with a female parishioner. Two Shoplifters Confess After Boston Store Arrest

Police report multiple missing persons in Boston and nearby areas. Millicent Carswell aged 45 of 259 Beacon Street has not been seen since Saturday. Annie Goldstein 35 of 6 Milton Street. Jury Finds Dr. Moore Guilty After Seven Hours

In Nashua New Hampshire on October 22 the jury returned a guilty verdict in the Dr. J. C. Moore case after seven hours of deliberation. The defendant showed little reaction as he was returned to jail while his lawyers sought to present questions to the judge. sentence was deferred by the court.
