Two fire alarms from Box 113 and Box 13 were rung yesterday afternoon for a dangerous blaze on the old McLean Asylum grounds. Firefighters arrived late due to alarm confusion but quickly cut down fence sections to halt the fire as the violent inmates reacted with a frightful din and stared from barred windows.
