Five alleged yeggs rounded up by Chief Watts last night

Chief Watts and detectives nabbed five men linked to a yeggman gang after a week of police work and tips from Western and Southern forces. Harold Holbrook of Minneapolis and John Irving were located on Washington street. Frank Nelson of New York and Edward Conlon of England were tracked to a Shawmut avenue lodging house. James Rogers of Wisconsin was captured on Corning street. A bag with nitro glycerine, fuses, revolvers and burglar tools was seized. Holbrook, known as the trapper, was among those rounded up. Murry, the shooter in a Tremont street saloon murder, received 20 years. Holbrook was later released.
