Track laborer John O'Brien of the New York Central road was killed today at Suspension Bridge by a switch engine. He lived in Lewiston.
In PoucuKespsig New York on October 21 Jose Perez a student at Estern College died from a brain concussion sustained during a football game when he collided with another player and was thrown to the ground. The incident occurred during yesterday’s play and he died last night.
E C Goodnow, 70, former organist of Stoneham, was accosted near Lindenwood Cemetery while returning from Woburn. He refused a request for money, struggled with the unidentified man, escaped to Captain Strange's house, and police arrested James Keegan of Stoneham, who was identified by Goodnow.
At about 3 30 yesterday afternoon on Market street Brighton a horse drawing a carriage bolted after fear of a tent in a field. The carriage overturned, Mrs Brown suffered severe bruises and back injuries. Dr H E B Marion attended.
