Dancer and pupil held after dawn fall incident

Twenty year old Ethel Sutoris a musical student was found unconscious in a yard at 564 Newbury street. She told police she leaped or fell from a fourth story window in the home of David H Lythgoe fearing for her honor. Lythgoe and pupil Raymond Ricarde were detained overnight by order of Captain Thomas F Goode.

Missing Girl Reported After Seizure at Lythgoe Home

Police stated both men were at the Lythgoe residence where Miss Sutoris boarded when the girl disappeared. The attempted timeline suggests the incident occurred at the known dwelling. Authorities continue to investigate leads and question residents.

Washington Oct 17 Orders closing the Berkeley Pre Vocational School at Boston where 500 war veterans attended were issued by Director Forbes of the Veterans Bureau. Forbes said the school was unsanitary and unhealthy and he believed it had been wandering the government for services never rendered.
