Petitions From Citizens and Groups Seek Street and Damages Work

Petitions filed for repairs to Roxbury armory and other street works. Requests include compensation for estate use and damages from grade changes. Proposals call for lighting Cobden street, testing signal transmission apparatus, uniting Second and First streets, laying sidewalks on North Grove street, and continuing the Abner Knight salary. Also requests to grant Faneuil Hall use, remove street obstructions, define Palmer street line, and fund a new steam fire engine. Referred items include street expense estimates and drainage remedies.
