The Victoria after unloading at Nome sails to Solomon a 300 resident placer camp 40 miles southeast to evacuate residents. More than twenty lives believed lost in the tide storm with eight drowned at Nome and many others lost at sea. Electric car crash injures two sweepers in Worcester
A Consolidated company electric car carrying nearly 100 passengers ran into two street sweepers after the motorman Ira Faid leapt from the platform. The car continued at speed with no one on the front, hitting a second sweeper before conductor Justus Anderson applied the air brakes to stop it. Both sweepers were injured and horses were killed. Faid is missing and not confirmed hurt.
