Attorney General Allen says the Bar Association petition for removal of a district attorney will go to the Supreme Bench for review. The state and Bar Association plan to handle the case jointly.
Attorney General J Weston Allen said proceedings to remove District Attorney Joseph C Pelletier will be heard by the Supreme Judicial Court. The decision came after a lengthy conference with Henry F Hurlburt president of the Boston Bar Association, which will join with Allen as petitioner in the case.
