Social Bong Exposes Back Bay Snobs and Bloodlines
A sharp annotated critique of Boston society sketches a Back Bay set as pretentious, fashion obsessed, and socially hollow. It ridicules a prominent Anglo-American figure with aristocratic pretensions, mocks Mayflower lineage, and labels the district a fragile marsh propped by artificial wealth. The piece questions the book Mrs. Harry St. John and predicts the общultural fate of its author’s wit.
