Modeling with Modeline Shapes for Kids

Rolling a lump of Modeline between the palms forms a ball the base shape for further forms. By flattening the ball into a disk or shaping it into an egg or snake form a child creates animals, flowers, cups, vases, faces, and decorative effects. Fingers are best, but pencils and simple household tools aid the craft as children and parents fashion shapes with wood, wire, toothpicks, beads, paper, and cardboard.
