Roy E Brock Fatally Wounded in Target Practice
A 16 year old boy Roy E Brock of 30 Tower street Jamaica Plain was fatally shot during a target practice session with a Flobert rifle using 22 calibre cartridges. The accident happened around 2 pm in a cellar when Brock handed the weapon to 13 year old Walter Lanigan of Wenham street Jamaica Plain causing the trigger to fire. Brock died at Homeopathic Hospital about 8 pm from a hemorrhage. Lanigan, described as of weak and nervous disposition, returned home crying after Brock was taken away.
