French and Americans gain ground in the champagne sector as German positions on the Hindenburg line between Cambrai and St. Quentin are smashed. Austro-Hungarian forces in Albania retreat northward toward the border from the Adriatic to Lake Ohrid as Austrian troops withdraw from Albania.
