Questions Gas Co’s Records Stir Hearing on Boston Rates
Edwin I. Dwelley of Lynn challenged the Boston Consolidated Gas Company records at a Gas and Electric Light Commissioners hearing on Boston gas rates. He said the books do not present a full true statement of the company’s affairs. President James L. Richards asked for supporting facts. Dwelley offered to present details later, refraining for now. The remark came near a London Sliding Scale rate discussion.
