Colby Nominated as Senator in Fifth Suffolk District

At the Hotel Langham last night the fifth Suffolk district senatorial convention featured John H. Colby nominated for senator Isaac P. Hutchinson defeated for re election as state committeeman and Charles B. Woolley substituted Superintendent of Streets Bertrand T. Wheeler was called a disgrace to the city of Boston and an intimidator of workingmen. After a tense start the gathering moved toward a contentious race that could reach the polls.
