The Sheep Interest Is Looking Up In Modern Flock Outlook

The sheep industry shows renewed hope as wool prices stabilize and a flock's long term gains become feasible. Despite past panics sparked by tariff talk, a 100 ewes with 80 percent gain and 10 percent losses could yield 14.25 in ten years, supporting profits even at 20 cents per pound and encouraging continued wool growing as a viable agricultural venture. Ireland’s woollen trade history warns of industry decline when manufacturing rights erode, illustrating the broader stakes for sheep and wool.
