In Houston Maine on September 30 17 year old Mildred Sullivan who vanished on September 4 is believed to have been taken in an automobile. Mrs Clementine Martin neighbor to the Pelletier family says a man visited the Pelletier home in a motor car at midnight and drove to a shed-like ell before speeding away along the Fort Fairfield road.
Searchers assemble along the Fort Fairfield road to find the grave of the unfortunate girl. Authorities plan to grill Dr. Lionel Dudley and his three women friends in the county jail tomorrow with proceedings continued on Page 9 Fifth Column.
Orazio Raimondo, a Socialist deputy, attacked Italy's Austria policy and urged armed intervention. He claimed official Socialism would disapprove while international Socialism is dead, declaring Berlin socialists killed it by backing militarism and praising the Kaiser’s defiance.
