Fatal Fall From Third Story Window at Hampton House
About 11:30 last night a woman fell from a third story window of the Hampton House in Haymarket square, fatally injuring herself. She died in Hanover street station ten minutes after admission. A male companion named Charles Burgess, 89, claimed Gloucester as his home and said the fall was accidental after they had drinks at the hotel. The woman, estimated 36, was nearly six feet tall with black hair and wore fair quality clothing. two rings and $2.17 were found on her person.
