Fifteen American officers and men who stood with their company during the first German raid on the night of November 2–3 were decorated today with the French War Cross in France. The decoration honors their actions and the capture of a U boat crew was disclosed in the report.

Charleston club announced tonight that a protest against Governor McCall for denying requisition for John Johnson will be sent to over 300 rotary clubs nationwide. The protest has already been forwarded to six clubs in Massachusetts.
