American Troops Begin Move to Rest Camps in France

Nov 21 by AP The 26th Division has been withdrawn from the front and placed in a rest camp in France. Also moved are the 78th 824 and 29th Divisions to rest camps while the 386th 60th 81st and Sixth Divisions march toward rest areas. The 17th Division may join a rest camp in southern France. The Fifth 89th and 79th Divisions form the Seventh Army Corps and stay in their old positions temporarily.

The Associated Press reports that on November 2 American troops near the Lux embankment frontier found high prices in Germany. In Esch, entered by First Division detachments, candy cost 20 francs a pound despite available stock.
