Davis in the top suite of Audubon Circle home to Mr. Weld reports a burglar entering via the rear stairs. The intruder, about 25, 5 feet 8, 150 pounds, brown suit, escaped after demanding Davis raise his hands. Police were alerted and reserves dispatched.

It also opposes re election of Mayor Fitzgerald. John A. Coulthurst will not receive the association's endorsement. The group stays out of the mayoral race and focuses on aldermanic contests.
