Drunken arrest ends with assault on Officer Brickley
Special Officer Brickley of Station 3 was attacked on Allen street during a drunken arrest. Martin Sheehan and an unknown assailant struck him, one with a fist and a paving stone, rendering him insensible for over an hour. He was treated at Massachusetts General Hospital and sent home after recovery. Officer Abbott and Quimby later arrested Sheehan.
