Cochituate Lake water levels and Mystic supply outlook
Water levels show Cochituate Lake ten and a half inches below conduit top with five feet one and a half inches of water in the main. Mystic works draw about two million gallons daily for three days, while Myotic Lake remains at a low level. Relief supply from Myotic cannot be depended on long, but Cochituate pumping is expected to reach twenty million gallons per day before Mystic supply declines. Criminal matters include petty thefts and an assault with an earthen pitcher. Parker Memorial Hall hosts a strong entertainment program featuring Frank Dwight Denny and a noted quartet led by Nettie Wallace and others.

Auction of trotting stock at West Millbury sale
A large crowd attended the auction of Mr J. G. Wood’s trotting stock in West Millbury. Horses sold included Boylston for 810 dollars and Son tag’s Duroc at no bid above 5000 dollars. Various brood mares and young stock fetched prices from 120 to 360 dollars, with several horses resold by buyers like M. E. Shattuck and G. W. Brigham. The event reflected generally low prices and lively bidding on select animals.
