A Newport coroner's inquest into Captain Moses Simatl of the bark Boylston found death due to concussion of the brain from a fall caused by illness. Chief Mate Wallace and a seaman testified the bark left Pensacola a week earlier, Simatl grew worse, and fell while taking observations, dying soon after aboard. Coroner Stanhone accepted the verdict.
