Military Refrigerator Match Dominates Walnut Hill Rifle Day
At Walnut Hill on Saturday, Roxbury City Guard members contest a military refrigerator prize worth $25. Gregory shot 24 of 25 at 200 yards to win. Lieut. Rockwell tied in points but lost on a center. The telegraphed results show top scores in 200 and 300 yard silverware events, with a long-range match to follow at 800 900 and 1000 yards. The refrigerator is to be shot for again at an undecided date, and a civic celebration is planned with speeches and Hare and Hounds.
